Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. You can review the Gravatar privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images that include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from any image posted here.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you can opt in to saving your name, email address and website in a cookie. This is purely for your convenience, so you don’t have to re-enter your details the next time you comment. These cookies last one year.
